Principal investigator of the research project <em>\u201cConstructing Ethnic Identity among Young Kurdish Migrants in Istanbul\u201d<\/em> (funded under the National Science Centre [NCN] Preludium programme), on the basis of which he defended his doctoral dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Janusz Mucha at Jagiellonian University.<\/p><p>Member of an interdisciplinary research team studying Kurdish culture from a postcolonial perspective \u2013 www.kurdishstudies.pl (funded under the NCN Sonata Bis programme).<\/p><p>Author of two scholarly monographs: <em>\u201cThe Istanbul Reception of the Arab Spring and the Idea of the Turkish Model of Democracy\u201d<\/em> (Libron, 2014) and <em>\u201cReligions of the Kurds: Yazidism, Alevism, Ahl-e Haq\u201d<\/em> (Sacrum, 2015).<\/p><p>Has experience in teaching\u00a0 methodology of social research.
